Giving Yourself Permission

I just want to remind you - it’s ok to give yourself permission to breathe and uncommit to things this holiday season.

As a recovering perfectionist myself, giving myself permission to change my mind about what I am doing in my business at any given time, uncommitting to things that are just not working for me and allowing myself the space to rest and rejuvenate are so important because I want to show up for you 100% and for my family and friends 100%.

I am sure I am not the only one here who is stretching themselves thing this holiday season trying to get “all the things done” between work and personal.  And a lot of it we want to do because we love this and want everything perfect for everyone else this time of year - but that can take a toll and we won’t be able to show up 100% for those we love if we continue to try to be perfect - when we can never be.  We can just be the best version of us in any moment.

That best version is someone who loves themselves enough to give themselves permission to say “no” to things that don’t resonate, to uncommit to things that maybe are just one thing to many this year, to say yes to self.

When we say yes to self and our own self-care, we can recharge and then are able to show up 100% for those we love.

So this holiday - you may see me stepping away from this group a little bit.   I also may uncommit to a few things.  I had a late night prayer/meditation session last night and Spirit reminded me of this.  That it is ok for me to recharge, to review, to re-align so I am doing what I feel is best and that way I show up for you the best I can.

So I encourage all of you to do the same.  To look around and really see where can you streamline, where is it best for you to say “no” or uncommit to something that is causing you stress this holiday - so you can take that time back for you.  For your recharge.

Affirm: I love myself, therefore I set and enforce healthy boundaries.  I love myself, therefore I give myself permission to say “no” to things that don’t resonate, to compassionately uncommit to things that I am trying to force, and to say yes to me.

Blessings - I love you!
